Here is what I have so far: Frank M. Sheeley Jr.- aka: Francis Michael Sheeley b. 1899 m. Phyllis Madlyn Dahl d. 1930 of Tuberculosis ... had one son who died as an infant in 1930 of TB, and a daughter, Dorothy Ann Sheeley who later moved to Des Moines, IA and married 1) Leon W. Sawyer and later 2) George L. Lewis Parents of Frank M. Sheeley: Frank M. Sheeley Sr. - aka: Francis Michael Sheeley b. about 1875 in Iowa m. Lena (b. New Hamphire) unknown last name d. before 1900?? (cannot locate him in later census information) Children: Frank, Marie, Lauretta, Lawrence, Mae, George ________________________________________________________ I believe Francis Michael Sheeley Sr. is the same as Michael F. Sheeley who appears in the 1880 census in Manchester, Delaware County, IA census ... age is about right. Later census information has him listed as born in IA, father b. NY, mother b. Can. If this is true, then his parents are: Michael F. Sheeley - b. abt 1852 in New York, parents born in Ireland married to Margaret - b. about 1857 in Canada, parents born in Ireland. Children: Michael F. and M. Gertrude ________________________________________________________ Now, I believe this Michael F. Sheeley is the son of Martin Sheeley in the 1870 census, listed in Manchester, Delaware County, Iowa ... Martin Sheeley ... b. abt 1815 in Ireland married to Maggie b. abt 1826 in Ireland children: John, Michael, Martin, and Thomas If anyone has any information that could help me, corroborate or correct the information I have here, I would very much appreciate it!
