Hi Thom and Pam, Shoot! I must be the new kid on the block! I welcomed Thom but didn't post it back to the list! We're always please and excited to have new research data added to the Benton County IAGenWeb site and look forward to the contributions of the Benton County Historical Society! In the mean time...several people have been transcribing different things for the Benton site. Kate Poole has dedicated her time to transcribing **ALL** of the Benton County 1878 Biographies! What a big job! Hank Rathje is about to submit his completed project of the St.Stephens Cemetery! Kent Wayson is working on the Kisling Cemetery and has already submitted a good deal of data! Dick Manley is doing a wonderful job with the Urbana History! So much good information and lots of names! The newest submission isn't online yet, but will be ASAP! Beverly Peterson has transcribed the names of the 1928 Ladies Aid Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church, Vinton, Iowa. All of these projects are huge undertakings for single Benton County researchers. I appreciate your hard work and dedication! Thanks for keeping me busy! :) (and out of trouble!) -- Sue
