Nolting, 71, of Waukon died Tuesday at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Zion United Church of Christ, Waukon, with burial in Oakland Cemetery, Waukon. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at Martin's Funeral Home, Waukon. Surviving are his wife, the former Ardys Sunderman; three sons, Fred of Waukon, Ronald of Dubuque and Donald of Ames, Iowa; two daughters, Marjorie Selberg of Waukon and Mrs. Alice Hartgrave of Marion, Iowa; four grandchildren; three brothers, Ruben, Martin and Melvin, all of Waukon and a sister, Mrs. Donald (Florence) Cooper of Waukon. Nolting was the son of Herman and Lydia (Hager) Nolting of Ludlow Township, Allamakee county, Iowa.
