Dresser, a former resident of this community, passed away at her home in Emmett, Idaho, Saturday, July 6, and funeral services were conducted July 9 in the Bucknum chapel by the Rev. Killerman, pastor of the Lutheran church. Interment was at Riverside cemetery. Mrs. Dresser was born as Anna Rekow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Rekow, June 8, 1882, in Germany. She came with her parents to the United States when two years old. She was married to Len Dresser in December, 1903, at Postville, and the couple lived here until they moved to South Dakota. In 1907 they went to Emmett, Idaho. Mrs. Dresser is survived by her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Ena Berry of Nez Perce, Idaho; two sons, Francis and Carl of Emmett; four grandchildren; five brothers, Otto, Fred, William, Emil and Henry Rekow; four sisters: Mrs. Helen Parker, Mrs. Louise Meyer, Mrs. Minnie Cummings, Mrs. DeEtta Landt, and her father, Herman Rekow, of Luana. A brother, Karl, preceded her in death. She had been an active member of the Progressive Club and of the Lutheran Ladies' Aid society, Emmett.
