The Death Register at the Waukon Courthouse, Book 7, page 244, gives the death date as July 19, 1971, according to Mr. Watne, another Snitker data collector. My own personal information states 1971 too. Mom made a mistake when she dated the clipping she clipped. I am very sorry if this has caused any problem for anyone. If newspapers would have put the entire date in the text, it would solve this kind of problem. Thank you for catching that error, Mr. Watne.
