Nolting WAUKON, Iowa -- Todd M Nolting, 18, of Waukon died Thursday as a result of a swimming accident at rural Decorah, Iowa. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Zion United Church of Christ, with burial at Oakland Cemetery, both in Waukon. Friends may call until noon Sunday at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon, and after noon at the church. Surviving are his parents, Gary and Faye Nolting of Waukon; two sisters, Amy and Sarah, and a brother, Chad, all at home; his grandparents, Charles and Virginia Werden of Fayette, Iowa, and Melvin and Eleanor Nolting of Waukon, and his great-grandparents, Harvey Stock of Waukon and Jessie Werden of Fayette. MAN DROWNS IN RIVER DECORAH, Iowa -- Todd M. Nolting 18, of rural Waukon, Iowa, drowned Thursday night while wading in the Upper Iowa River near Decorah. Authorities from the Winneshiek County Sheriff's Department said Nolting drowned about 6:45 p.m. while wading with friends in an area known as the Upper Dam.
