Davis, 84, died Sunday at the home of her daughter in Waukon. She had been the housekeeper for St. Patrick's Catholic Church rectory for more than 30 years. Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. James Ward of Waukon, Mrs. Glenn McCarty of Minneapolis and Mrs. Joseph O'Meara and Mrs. Bernard Van Ham, both of Aurora, Ill.; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m. today at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Martin's is in charge of arrangements. Submitter's note: I am not sure if this is the Postville Herald newspaper but it is hand dated May 31, 1984. Mary was born 1899 at Deadwood, South Dakota. She is buried at Mount Olivet Cemetery, located at the edge of Waukon, Iowa. Her parents were Michael H. Daly and Mary Francis Mott.
