His death date is 25 Mar 1874. His widow Beulah Templeton Smith died 17 Oct. 1882 and is buried in Oak Hill Cemetery and probably near a daughter Jane A. (SMITH) HALE and Jane's daughter Clara HALE. A note on the Rootsweb cemetery record says "mother" for Beulah SMITH. Am I correct in assuming that Thomas A. SMITH is actually buried in Old West Paint cemetery, but when Beulah his wife died 8 years later, his name was added to her tombstone? THANK you all for doing this cemetery project. I would never have found my gg grandfather's birth and death dates otherwise.
