I have a newpaper clipping about a Ed Hastings, from the 1928 Waukon Journal, telling of a severe loss of where a train ran over his team of horses. There is more but won't go into details. This Ed Hastings was the father of Gladys Leona Hastings, born January 9, 1903. Gladys married Jacob Willam "Jake" Ewing. I have no wedding date but their first child was born in 1924, named Milton Laverne Ewing. Would we be speaking of the same Ed Hastings? I would like to share what information I have on the descendants.
