My great-grandfather was Julius Oleson/Olson. He was married to Eliza Gilbertson in Norway. I think he came from Norway with Evan Swenson, going first to Quebec, then Chicago, Madison, Wis. and settled in Postville, Iowa. He had a wife & baby in Norway, who came later. My grandmother Louise was born in Iowa in l876. I think he had a brother Andreas (Andrew). I don't know if he had any other siblings.
