To all Allamakee Co. listers .... I am leaving for Iowa on Wednesday and will be spending several days in Green Co. Iowa before heading up to Allamakee Co. I have no ancestors in Green Co., except my mom!!! I know that Jefferson has a wonderful little library with a genealogy section. I'll take research requests from any Allamakee Co. list member who has ancestors in Green Co. -- I will be in Scranton & Jefferson -- and can take cemetery photos, check microfilmed newspapers for obits, etc. If you have a request please reply to me privately [email protected] I need to hear from you by Tuesday nite at the latest.
