John Kloesterboer, for Lester Earl Hager, a youth of 16 years. Lester was born in Ludlow, June 24, 1922, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Hager. He was a pupil at the Waukon high school. Surviving besides his parents are two brothers and two sisters, all at home, also his grandmothers, Mrs. Hager and Mrs. Stock. Burial was made in the local cemetery. Members of his confirmation class acted as pallbearers. Postville Herald newspaper clipping, hand dated December 6, 1938, from my mother's obituary collection. She has also written on it, "Failing in health for a number of years."
