Local relatives were notified Monday of the passing of Herman Meyer at his home in Beloit, Wisconsin, that morning. (25 Jan 1932) Mr. Meyer, before the family moved to Beloit, was a Postville resident conducting a machine and wagon shop here. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Meyer of Springfield and was married to Lena Honn. Four daughters, two sons and the widow (a sister of Mrs. L. H. Schroeder) survive. Mr. Meyer was a brother of Mrs. Frank Sebastian, Mrs. George Thoma and David Meyer of this city, John O. Meyer of Ossian and Mrs. Sophia Schara of Prairie du Sac, Wis.
