Allamakee - Listers, For those of you who don't get the Iowa-List, it was announced today that several Winneshiek county naturalization indexes have been submitted to the IowaGenWeb archives. I browsed the several data-bases and recognize *many* Allamakee surnames. If you are not familiar with the Allamakee area, it is bordered to the west by Winneshiek county. Copies can be obtained from the Howard-Winneshiek Genealogy Society for a nominal copy fee and optional donation. Thank-you to Janice Sowers & the society for providing these records.
