The funeral will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Martin Funeral Home in Waukon, Iowa, with the Rev. Glen Robinson of Calvary Baptist Church officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Lansing. Pallbearers will be Darren and Kenneth Koozer, Kenneth Palmer and Kenneth, Eric and John Brooks. Honorary pallbearers will be David Palmer and John Thomas. Mr. O'Daniels was born June 12, 1907, in Muscatine, to George W. aand Lou Spicer O'Daniels. He married Metha Wendel, Sept. 14, 1938, in Cedar Falls. He was raised in Muscatine until age 5, when his family moved to Pine City schools. Mr. O'Daniels was employed as a truck driver for Carstensen Freight and lived most of his life in Clinton. He enjoyed fishing, gardening and traveling. Survivors include a brother, Olin O'Daniels of Hastings, Minn; three nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife, two brothers and a sister. The Clinton Herald, 8 June 1985
