The Rev. Robert Schultz of Waukon will officiate and burial will be in Oak Hill in Lansing. Mr. Russell was born July 13, 1926 in rural Lansing and was a son of George and Adella Jones Russell. October 29, 1950 he married Ruth Steiber, who survives with three children, Don , Debbie and Donna, all at home. Other survivors include four brothers, George of Mountain Grove, Mo.; Leslie of Mazomanie, Wis.; Cecil of Harpers Ferry and Charles of Waukon, and three sisters, Mrs. Delmar (Mary) Cole of Lewiston, Minn.; Mrs. Fred (Jennie) Sass of Waukon, and Mrs. Floyd (Mabel) Ashbacher of Mesa, Ariz. Mr. Russell was a veteran of World War II and his occupation was farming. He was a member of United Methodist church in lansing.
