Randall one of the old settlers of the town of Fairhaven died Thursday noon, at the age of seventy-four years. He served all through the civil war as a private in Company A of the twenty-seventh Regiment of Iowa Volunteer Infantry, and up to his death was receiving a pension of twenty-four dollars a month. His wife died about two years ago Burial was at the Pramens cemetery, near Fairhaven Township, Stearns County, Minnesota. Added: John E & Caroline (Wagoner) Randall and their family were residents of Allamakee County Iowa from 1860 to about 1890, when they moved to Fairhaven Township, Stearns County Minnesota. He and his wife had 12 children, 9 of which were born in Allamakee County, Iowa
