A native of Union City township, he lived all his life on a farm in the township. He is survived by his wife, the former Gladys Halverson, to whom he was married Nov. 23, 1944. Other survivors are seven brothers, Eben, Lansing; Arthur and Frank, Dorchester, Charles and Joseph, New Albin; Leonard, Waukon; Stanley, British Columbia; and a sister, Mrs. George Weber, Dorchester.
