Joseph Krocheski offering the Mass of Requiem. Mr. Dixon died Wednesday evening at his farm home following an extended period of ill health. Deceased was born in Glenwood township, Winneshiek county, in March, 1861. Hanover township had been the family home for many years. He is survived by his widow, the former Stacia Fitzgerald, two sons and three daughters, namely: Joseph and William, at home; Mrs. Celia Kister, Osage; Marie and Alice, married, of Detroit, Mich. He is also survived by three brothers namely; Thomas Dixon, Florence, Wis., O. A. Dixon, Waukon (balance is cut off) Allamakee Journal & Lansing Mirror, Wed. April 20, 1949; pg 1
