Funeral services were held today, Wed­nesday, at 1:30 p.m. from the Old West Paint Creek Lutheran Church of which he was a mem­ber with the Rev. Marlyn Han­sing officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. He was born in Allamakee County on January 13, 1900 to Erick and Ellen (Haas) Thompson. He was married on February 4, 1922 at the Old West Paint Creek Church to Ella Cahalan, who survives with one son, Dr. Robert Thompson, San Diego, Calif., and one sister, Mrs. Mayme Mullen, Manchester.
