Robert Brumm, 21, rural Caledonia, Minn., and David Kruse, 21, rural Dorchester died as two vehicles hit head-on on highway 26. A third person in their car, David Mauss, 22, New Albin, was in very serious condition Tuesday at Lutheran hospital in LaCrosse, Wis., Five persons riding in the second car also suffered extensive injuries and were in fair condition Tuesday at the LaCrosse hospital. They are Robert Colsch 23, head injuries; David Mitchell, 32, internal injuries; Randall Erickson 18, hip injury, and Joseph Carroll, 24, numerous fractures and a possible concussion, all of New Albin, and Betty Duffy, 16, of Spring Grove, Minn., cuts and bruises Joint services for Robert Brunn and David Kruse will be held Thursday at 2 at St. Luke’s Church of Christ at Eitzen, Minn.
