She was born December 11, 1896, in Union City township, Allamakee county, to John and Louisa (Ashbacher) Sadler. She married Fred Weymiller on April 25, 1916, in the Mount Hope Presbyterian Church in rural New Albin. He died on February 27, 1958. She was a member of Mount Hope Presbyterian Church and it various women's groups. Survivors include four sons, Leland of Spring Grove, MN, Fred Jr. of Yuba City, CA, Donald of Lansing, and Ronald of New Albin; seven daughters, Evelyn Wild of Lansing, Helen Campbell and Lorna Vichlach, both of Waukon, Betty Smerud and Shirley Bulman, both of New Albin, Hope Griffin of Rochester, MN, and Nancy Collins of Hales Corners, WI; 51 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, June 14, in the Mount Hope Presbyterian Church. The Revs. Louise Gordon-Denniston and Douglas Gordon-Denniston officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery.
