Fish Funeral services for Robert V. Fish were held Monday, December 30, 1991, 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Chapel with the Rev. James Jacobson officiating. Robert V. Fish, 81, was born October 28, 1910, to James and Maude (Evans) Fish, rural Waukon, on his parent’s farm. He died December 27, 1991, at the Good Samaritan Center, Waukon, Ia. Robert attended rural schools in Jefferson and Franklin Townships. He worked for various farmers in the Rossville area most of his life. He was a member of the country and western band “The Hillbilly Rhythm Boys,” was a lifelong resident of Allamakee County, and had been a resident at the Good Samaritan Center in Waukon since 1988. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Mildred Decker, and an infant brother, Benjamin. Surviving are a niece, Evelyn, Mrs. Wesley Winters, Waukon, and two nephews, Robert Decker and Wife, Sharon, Waukon, Gary Decker and wife, Bernice, Lawler, Ia. , and several grand nieces and nephews.
