She was born May 18, 1892, at Waukon. She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian church. Surviving are three sons, James of Shellsburg and Kenneth and Carl, both of Cedar Rapids; five daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Aud of Merrillville, Ind., and Mrs. Stanley Procok, Mrs. James Ewing, Mrs. Noel Tollefson and Mrs. John Fields, all of Cedar Rapids; 17 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Caroline Straate and Marie Straate, both of Waukon. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday at Turner Cahpel West by the Rev. Nadim Saikaly. Another service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Zion Reformed church in Waukon by the Rev. Henry Heinbuck. Burial will be in Oakland cemetery.
