Mark, 73, of New Albin, IA, died Tuesday, August 20, 1991 at the VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI. He was born December 21, 1918 in Ft. Thomas, KY, to Benjamin and Katherine (Garrison) Mark. He married Ruth Imhoff of New Albin, IA. Wilbur was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army for 21 1/2 years, then served as a policeman in New Albin, IA. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Kathy) Frazier, and two grandchildren, Camp Douglas, WI, and a brother, Robert Mark of Battle Creek, NE. Funeral services were held Friday, August 23, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, New Albin, IA, Fr. Henry Charipar officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery with Military Honors by New Albin VFW Post 5603. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Heiderscheit, Chris Heiderscheit, Patrick Heiderscheit, Richard, Heiderscheit, Tom Berestoff, and Gerald Imhoff.
