Mark, 73, of New Albin, IA, died Tuesday, August 20, 1991 at the VA Medical Center, Tomah, WI. He was born December 21, 1918 in Ft. Thomas, KY, to Benjamin and Katherine (Garri­son) Mark. He married Ruth Im­hoff of New Albin, IA. Wilbur was a Master Ser­geant in the U.S. Army for 21 1/2 years, then served as a policeman in New Albin, IA. He is survived by his wife, Ruth; a daughter, Mrs. Joe (Ka­thy) Frazier, and two grandchil­dren, Camp Douglas, WI, and a brother, Robert Mark of Battle Creek, NE. Funeral services were held Friday, August 23, at St. Jo­seph's Catholic Church, New Albin, IA, Fr. Henry Charipar offi­ciating. Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery with Military Honors by New Albin VFW Post 5603. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Heiderscheit, Chris Hei­derscheit, Patrick Heiderscheit, Richard, Heiderscheit, Tom Be­restoff, and Gerald Imhoff.
