Evanson, 88, of Waterville, died Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, following a sudden illness. Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Old East Paint Creek Lutheran Church, rural Waterville, by Pastor Ken Kimball. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Martin Funeral Home, Waukon. Survivors include his wife, Helen; nine children, Linda James of Grants Pass, Ore., Shirley of Waukon, Phyllis Waters and Sandra Reinke, both of New Albin, Jim, David and Steve, all of Waterville, Mary Bleckwehl of Northfield, Minn., and Nancy of Lansing; and a sister, Charlotte Mathis, and brother, Alton Evanson, both of Waukon.
