He was born on November 9, 1920 in New Albin to Reinhardt and Selma (Welper) Jordan. He lived in La Crosse for the past several years. Prior to that he was a businessman in New Albin. Survivors are two daughters, Julie and Elizabeth; one son, Tom; two grandsons of Milwaukee, Wis.; a brother, Harold, of St. Paul, Minn.; and two sisters, Mrs. Maynard (Lorena) Sinrud of La Crescent, Minn., and Mrs. Herbert (Helen) Zarwell of New Albin. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. Services were held on Friday, October 2 in the New Albin chapel. Rev. Richard Waters officiated and burial was in the New Albin cemetery. Pallbearers were Earl Crowley, Joe Deeney, Edward Jordan, Herbert Zarwell, Maynard Sinrud and Dale Robey. Source: Allamakee Journal ~ 14 October 1981
