Stall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Myron E. Stall was born in Ludlow township, Allamakee county, Iowa, on December 8, 1873 and died at the home of his sister Mrs. T. J. Werhan of this city, Tuesday, March 22, 1910. He was thirty-six years and three months old. Early in life he was converted and remained an earnest Christian all his life. He was educated at the Upper Iowa University at Fayette, and the Dakota Wesleyan University at Mitchell, supporting himself by teaching school at Beaman, Iowa, and other places. He was ordained minister on October 12, 1907, and preached on three different charges, at Kennebec before being ordained, and at Ethan, Bard and Riverside, all in South Dakota. During these years he was very active in temperance work, also helped to build a church at Vivien, Lyman County, S. D. In December 1908 his health failed, and in February he went to New Mexico, but failed to find relief and in March returned to his mother and sister in Waukon, where he was tenderly cared for till death. He leaves to mourn his loss, his mother, a brother and five sisters, an aged aunt and other relatives.
