White, 95, who died Sunday, Dec. 13, 1987 at her rural Postville home. Dr. John White Jr. officiated at the 1 p.m. services held at First Baptist church. Burial was in Oakland cemetery with Martin Funeral Home in charge of ar­rangements. She was born April 8, 1892 in the English Bench area of Allamakee coun­ty to George and Mary (Young) Bulman. She was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Hope Presbyterian church and attended rural Allamakee county schools and business college. Jan. 27, 1915 she married John W. White in Waukon. He died Oct. 7, 1964. Surviving are five sons, Milton of Marion, IA; Linton of Hastings, MI; Lee of Postville; Howard of Longmont, CO; and Dr. John White Jr. of Grand Rapids, MI; a daughter Mrs. Harold (Viola) Doudney of Postville; 18 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her hus­band, three brothers preceded her in death, William, Bert and Joe. Casket bearers were Denny, Jim, Tom, Dale, David Danny, Joel, Stephen, Philip and Mike White.
