Eleanor is survived by her husband, Merlin Freilinger of New Albin; four sons, Dennis Chamney of Denver; Richard and Brian Chamney, both of Waterloo; and Bruce Chamney of Bennett; a daughter, Sara Prizler of Davenport; a brother, Jack Rockufeler of Kansas; a sister, Marjorie Abbott of Mason City; her mother, Elna Rockufeler of Mason City; and two granddaughters, Erica and Carissa Chamney. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Chamney in 1965, and her father, John Rockufeler. Services were held Sunday, March 1, at 3 p.m in Chenowith and Son Funeral Home, Nashua, IA.
