Middendorf, 74, Caledonia, Minn., died at 12:30 a.m. Thursday after a short illness. The son of Gerhardt and Caroline (Welper) Middendorf, he was born in Winnebago Township, Houston County, Minn., October 11, 1897. He married Anna Klinski. They farmed in Crooked Creek township until retiring in 1964. Survivors are his wife; one son, LaMoine of Caledonia; one daughter, Mrs. Audrey Petersen, Hokah, Minn.; 13 grandchildren; four brothers, Edward and Elmer of Caledonia, Minn.; Walter of New Albin, Ia. and Franklin of Lansing, Ia.; and two sisters, Mrs. Ella Muenkel of Caledonia, Minn. and Mrs. Alvina Roeber of New Albin, Ia. One sister has died. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Caledonia, the Rev. Marvin Doelger officiating, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call at.
