"Tade" Munz, 78, of rural Lansing, died Thursday, September 24, 1987 at Thornton Manor nurs­ing home. He was born September 27, 1908 in Lafayette township, Allamakee County, to John B. and Anna (Welper) Munz. He married Cleon Roeder in July of 1953. He farmed in the Village Creek area for many years. He was also a bus driver for Eastern Allamakee Communi­ty Schools for many years. He is survived by his wife; two stepsons, William Mun­choff of Hudson and David Munchoff of Kenosha, Wis.; five grandchildren; a brother, John Munz, of Lansing; and two sisters, Mrs. Urban (Do­rothy) Strub and Anna Peter­son, both of Lansing. He was preceded in death by three sisters and a brother. Funeral services were held on Sunday, September 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the United Meth­odist Church. Rev. Thomas Mattson officiated and burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Richard Roeder, Michael Cavers, Wil­liam Reed, William Gordon, Robert Goodell and Donald Aldrich.
