By any chance, can you check to see the names of those Hydes born in 1829? Maybe Henry wasn't his first name? The other info I've collected is that he was married once, but his first wife passed away. He worked as a surveyor for the Omaha RR until he ended up remarried in Wisconsin. He died in 1901. What is written in family records is "Henry L. Hyde, born in Hyde Park, Vt."
