Hyde - born 3-4-1798 to a Joseph Hyde m. Susanna Moore - who married Dolly Church, and a "bible record" that shows a birthdate for David in September (year looks like 1785, but not legible.) I think we have a match, but would like to know more about the parents. Both records are about Joseph Hyde from Southwick, MA. The Hampton, NY Censuses show a Joseph Jr. Hide and Joseph Hide. It might be father & son. The "Jr." record appears to have the correct children gender/ages - but I don't know enough about the other Joseph. Do you know a Robert Hyde? I lost track of him. He had some information on a David Walker Hyde from Hampton. What do you have of your David W. Hyde's father, grandfather, etc.?
