I am sending this to people who may be interested. The Public Record Office website has now got more than 700,000 wills proved at the Prerogative Court of Canterbury between 1670-1858 scanned and listed. Not all wills for the range shown have yet been included, but as the PCC was the senior probate court for England & Wales and there are so many listed you may find something of interest to you there. The index can be searched free, by name, place etc. It costs £3 to download a scanned image of each will selected (same charge however many pages).
