Hi List, I'm new to the list, but not to Hyde genealogy. You may have seen my posts on other forums so ignore this if you have. I'm currently searching for the information on the following family from Newton, MA. John Hyde b. abt 1795 (or Dec. 18, 1799) in Newton, MA; m. abt. 1828; d. March 28, 1886 Newton, MA + Hannah Woodcock b. November 13, 1808 Natick, MA; d. December 16, 1874 in Newton, MA Children all born in Newton, MA: John Hyde b. Jan. 2nd 1829; d. 1849 Natick, MA (unmarried) Mary Hyde b. March 16th 1830 William Hyde b. July 22nd 1833, d. IA + Jane O'Brien Elizabeth Hyde b. March 10th 1836 Caroline Hyde b. Oct. 16th 1839 Emiline Hyde b. March 16th 1842 Charles Hyde b. Dec. 1st 1844, d. Nantucket, MA + 1st Dora L. + 2nd Margaret E. Adeline Hyde b. Nov. 9th 1847 + Charles Hatch Ellen Maria Hyde b. April 6th 1850 Alfred Hyde b. Feb. 6th 1853; d. Natick, MA + Martha Wentworth John Hyde lived in the Newton Almshouse from about 1830 to his death. Most, if not all of his children were born there. I'm most interested in finding a birth record of John or a marriage record of John and Hannah to verify his parents as Gershom and Caty Hyde as stated in Jackson's book "History of Newton, MA". His death record does not state parents names. I'm also interested in finding spouses of the children and death information. Are there any other references that someone could recommend?
