I recently heard from a relative who had an old bible record labelled "Joseph Hyde - Southwick" record that ties my GGGGrandfather, Josephus Hyde, to your Esther Hyde who married Ambrose Doolittle. I think the Southwick means Southwick, MA - where some of the other records point. Here is the bible record: Susana Hyde was born April on Tusday 1771 Ronianny Hyde was born September 13 1777 Monday Jophsefus Hyde was born October 22 1781 on Sunday Narmi Hyde was born Aprill 12th 1784 on Tus in Gianvill Joil Hyde was born May 13, 1786 on Saturday in Hampton Pheby Hyde was born May 12th 1788 on Monday Ester Hyde was born September 1770 on Saturday Jhon Merman Hyde was born May 27 1773 on Wensdy David Hyde was born September __ 17_5 on Saturday Almeron Hyde was born March 4th 1790 on Saturday Lucy Hyde was born June 24th 1700 on Tusday S Hyde was borne July 17th 1803 and deceased December the 12th 1803 Jhoseph Hyde deceased August 11th on his Seventy Eighth year 1884. I also found some poorly-documented records on the LDS (IGI) website that appears to confirm and add to the bible records, but they are too fragmented and no source is supplied. Like I said, it's hope! Three of the siblings are listed with parents of Joseph Hyde and Susanna Moore. Another hopeful sign! [Brackets are my assumtions] Susana [Susan] Hyde married Joshua Hatch Ronianny [Roxiana] Hyde married John Snow Jophsefus [Josephus] Hyde married Sophia Meed [Mead] Narmi [Naomi] Hyde married John Race Joil [Joel] Hyde married Anna Collins (Ancestry.com WFT) Pheby [Phebe or Phoebe] Hyde married Cornelius Bogart Ester [Esther] Hyde married Ambrose Doolittle .. Almeron (Almiron) Hyde married Sarah McBride I have nothing further for now. Are you (or is anyone else?) in a position to confirm some of this?
