I am searching for info on a Frank & Maudie B. Reagor Hyde. Both were born in Tennessee (he in about 1898 & her in about 1900) and may have moved to Missouri after 1920 when her father died. She is mentioned in the Lake County (TN) Banner at the death of her brother (Robert Wilson Reagor of St. Louis) in 1930 but not mentioned at the death of her mother in 1936 (of East St. Louis). They are shown in the 1920 Census of Lake Co., TN but not listed on the Soundex in 1930. I am looking for info and possible descendents of this couple. Maudie is a first cousin to my paternal grandmother. However, by the time I became interested in all of this my grandmother couldn't remember anything and my father doesn't remember her ever saying anything about that side of the family. It has taken over 10 years of on/off researching just to find these little bits of info. I just found out about Maudie marrying Frank Hyde (through newpaper and Census - no marriage record) and her mother and brother being in St. Louis when they died (thank goodness for small town newspapers) this past Monday. The graves were in Lake Co. but I had no idea they died in MO and wouldn't have looked there for many years. Any help or pointing in the right direction would be great. At least I'll have some new things to tell my father this Christmas. As I said, these people are his mother's first cousins and we know nothing about them. She died in Lakehurst, NJ. All I know about her family is that her mother was named Mary. I don't even have siblings for her. :( I need to pursue her side of the family more, and am hoping to find a census or vital records that will take me there. I have not heard anything about a school in her family's name, but it is likely a coincidence related to another branch of the Hydes. Loretta did not come from a distinguished family background.

Here is what I have on her and her descendants. Loretta HYDE was born in 1901 in New York to parents unknown. She married Phillip Horn (b. 1899 in New York, d. 1980 in New York), in about 1923. They had three children, Dorothy Marie (b. 1924), William Henry (b. abt. 1925), and Joseph (b. 1bt. 1926). Loretta died in 1993, in Lakehurst, New Jersey. Dorothy Marie Horn married Anthony DiGiovanni in 1943 in New York, and they had four children Nancy, Loretta, Gary and Marie (living). William Henry Horn married Rita Fiasco and had William Henry Horn, Jr.; they divorced and Rita later married his brother, Joseph Horn. I would be deeply grateful for any further information on Loretta HYDE and her husband Phillip HORN.
