She was admitted to the hospital for at > least 3 days to receive i.v. antibiotics, breathing treatments, etc. > > MONDAY - > In treating the pneumonia, mom suddenly had severe chest pain on Monday afternoon, and was given morphine shots. She > was more comfortable by Monday night, with her pulse lower, etc. > > TUESDAY - > Bloodwork done throughout the night, revealed that mom possibly suffered a heart attack on Monday afternoon. > Because of what the bloodwork and EKG was showing, her doctor transferred her to a hospital specializing in cardiac care. > > Mom was transferred via ambulance, and it was a very difficult trip, with her having great difficulty breathing. > The ambulance driver almost turned sirens and lights on several times, because of the diffculties she was having > throughout the trip. > > WEDNESDAY - > Mom will begin tests that we pray will reveal exactly what happened.
