    2. Have you located the obits you were going to send? Any and all Hutchcraft's - PLEASE! Also, do you have any old photo's of this family? Gail Hutchcraft [email protected] Ford County, Il. genealogy volunteer ----- Original Message ----- From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Sent: Thursday, June 22, 2006 4:13 PM Subject: Re: Frost Hutchcraft Gail, I'm sorry to be so long getting back to you. As much as I like genealogy I am often unable to spend time on it. I'm not exactly sure where we left off, but I have compiled a list of questions about the Hutchcraft family. I think I told you I have over thirty news items to share. Do you have the death date and place for Mary H. 'Mollie' Jones (Oct 1837-), w/o John H. Hutchcraft (1824-1889)? I understand that John H. and Mary (Jones) Hutchcraft had 8 children: Clifford: Have his birth/death dates/places info, as well as burial location. Charles: I need the birth/death dates/places for his wives and their names/surnames; obits. Have census records. Frost: Need his death date (have only year); obits. Have a census record, many news items, pics of his wife and some children (Dorwin married my aunt). Lula: Need birth/death dates/places for her and for any spouse she may have had. John: Need birth/death dates/places for him and for any spouse he may have had. Gussie: Need birth/death dates/places for her and for any spouse she may have had. Have possible marriage news item. Reuben: Need birth/death dates/places for him and for any spouse he may have had. Have news items. James: Need birth/death dates/places for him and for any spouse he may have had. Have copy of WWI draft reg card. The DSC recipient I would like to know more about is Reuben Brent Hutchcraft Jr., who was killed in WWI. I understand there is a story about him but cannot locate it anywhere. Following is a transcription of the first news article I have for Reuben, s/o JH, transcribed exactly as written. How would you like me to send these? By email attachment or within the email message itself? Sherman, Tex., Aug. 4 [1892].— . . . A man by the name of Brooks, who gives his place of residence as Fort Worth, was put in jail this evening upon a warrant sworn out by Rube Hutchcraft, who says that the defendant lost $70 in a game in which he (Hutchcraft) was employed and that failing to borrow any money he (Brooks) drew a razor and made a grab at the bank roll, taking the money he had lost, then standing the house off. When taken to the jail he had $70 in his pockets. Will surely appreciate your help with my questions! Having only the year of birth or death is somewhat helpful, but I would naturally like to have full information for all of the above. As I said, I am very happy to share. Leah
