It lists her parents as John Tubbs and Jane Bigim or Bigum. I do know she was married to Richard Bramlett and had at least two children by him. According to the Illinois marriage index, when Rachel married Bramlett her last name was Dawson. So we are thinking that our gggrandfather was her third marriage. I have birth records for some of the children and it lists Susie Bramlett Whittenberg Hediger as her fourth child. I do know Susie's brother William D. Bramlett died in 1880 and was the third child. We do not know if her first two children were Bramlets or Dawsons. About all the census info indicates she was from Arkansas, stories I have heard is she was Cherokee Indian and adopted by John Tubbs.
