My older siblings remember their grand parents talking of Mary Ann's indian heritage and also called her Waccabba. They thought she might have been Cherokee. I can't seem to get Harrison's line back past Kentucky and would be most interested in any information on Mary Ann's people. I have a picture of their daughter Mary Ann "Savanna" Rhodes, husband Benjamin Franklin Russell and nine of their children taken in 1892 if anyone is interested.
