Mary Ann was born 27 June 1815 in Kentucky. Parents of 9 children. Does anyone have any information about Mary Ann having Indian heritage? I found a site that gave her a, possibly, middle name of "Waccabba". My mother says that someone in her line was from the Potowatami Tribe and someone else said she was Cherokee. I haven't been able to find any evidence, other than heresay, but would love to know if this information may be accurate. Thanks for any help anyone can give!
