----- Original Message ----- From: ladybug To: [email protected] Cc: Hutchcraft Sent: Tuesday, November 04, 2003 12:29 PM Subject: HUTCHCRAFT in Bourbon Co., KY What do you know about John H. Hutchcraft b. 1824 Bourbon County KY? Could he have been married before Mary Jones in 1856? My John Hutchcraft: parents/siblings/date of birth/death/ unknown wed: 1-3-1849 Hamilton County, Il to Mary Charlotte Crisel Nov 1849: Wm. HARRISON Hutchcraft born 1850 Il Census: Mary and son, William are living with her parents and John is NOT listed in Illinois Census - he IS listed in KY census (son of Reuben Hutchcraft) abt 1851 Charlie Hutchcraft born 1855 Mary Charlotte divoreces John Hutchcraft as he has disappeared 1856 - Your John Hutchcraft weds Mary Jones I think they are one and the same..... 1. Harrison, middle name of John and Mary's son is also maiden name of Reuben Hutchcraft's mother. Many other family names come down 2. Resemblance - we have seen the picture of Reuben in the Hopewell Museum - his lower lip has a bit of drawl - so do several of our Hutchcraft's 3. Age is good - not prooven, but good. What are your thoughts? We cannot proove they are the same; but BOY, we are nearly positive - just need to know if your John may have been on his second marriage? George Daily b. 1816-1822? married Mary Charlotte Crisel Hutchcraft 5-23-1858 in HCI by John S. Kinnear, JP. One known son, Silas Daily b. 1859 married Malinda Hullinger as was a school teacher. They had two sons, Milton Daily , b. 1888 and Cullen Daily b. 1889 Any descendant to correspond with? Gail Hahn Hutchcraft [email protected]
Captain John Bond b 1816 KY married Elizabeth Daily 1838 Elizabeth Daily Bond died 1877 HCI John married secondly to Catherine Dickson Hammer in 1878 @ Delafield in HCI. Catherine is not even mentioned in obituary of John Bond when he died 6-25-1899 in HCI. Would like to know something about her? Her father was listed as Willilam Dickson on the marriage certificate. Gail Hahn Hutchcraft [email protected]
If you are talking about William Harrison Hutchcraft, b. 11-7-1849 HCI, his father IS John Hutchcraft who married and divorced Mary Charlotte Crisel 1849-1856. I am positive this John is son of Reuben; however, cannot proove it yet. But, there is another Harrison Hutchcraft b. 1816 also with a father named John.
