Harrison and Mary Ann has a son Harrison b.17 May 1838 d.13 May 1889. I do not know his middle name, but he could be a Jr. This Harrison was married to Melvina Tate(1838-1920)and they were married in 1858. They also had a daughter named Nancy Jane. Nancy Jane's birth and death dates, that I have found, are the same. So, I assume she died in birth or shortly after. Harrison William and Mary Ann had 9 children together. I have a cousin that listed Nancy as belonging to Harrison Hutchcraft married to Melvina Tate but that just doesn't add up. What she has is that Harrison and Melvina married in 1858 so that just doesn't work. Nancy was born in 1856. When the kids signed her death Certificate they may have gotten her father wrong they didn't know who her mother was so maybe they thought her father was Alfred. I remember the day grandma died on her death certificate it shows her B: March 20, 1856 D: Dec 24, 1952 her father is listed as Alfred Hutchcraft and mother unknown. They married in 1883-01-03. The Alfred Hutchcrafts that I find with a Nancy as a their daughter are to young by 10 years. Harrison's middle name could have been Alfred. I don't know just can't place her for sure with anyone. HUTCHCRAFT, HARRISON RHODES, MARY ANN 1835-06-10 006/0030 00000190 MADISON, IL If I knew his middle name and it turned out to be Alfred then I would believe I had the right father and mother for Nancy. I'm really wondering when she was born. I found her marriage to Harrison on the Ill site she married in 1835-06-10 so it's not likely that she would be 11 when she married most of her birthdates that I have seen are 1824. I'm trying to figure out if Harrison and Mary are my Great-Grandma's parents her name was Nancy. I know they have a Nancy and the birthdate is right. Maybe Mary lied about her age in the 1860 census.
