Heather, My grandmother was born in Kansas. Her name was Susan B. Hunter. Her father Was William Hunter, he was born in Ohio. He had a brother named Robert. Their parents were Martha Kinkead and James Hunter. She was born in England and he was born in Ireland. Don't have any place names and no dates except that my grandmother was born about 1886. Dear Sid, Sorry Sid, at this time, I don't know more than what is stated on my great grandmother Della's death records (she died in California in 1979). I am just starting the research on my Hunter side of the family, so my next step is to obtain a copy of her social security application. However, she applied in Washington State and I am not sure if that is going to produce where in Kansas she was born, but it should give me the names of her parents in which I do not know who they are at this time. I only found out who her siblings were through my grandmother rooting through a box to find an address book she had kept from the 1950's to refresh her memory!!! God love pack rats!
