Hi Charles The Joseph Hunter family in Jefferson county is of the Joseph Hunter that served with George Rogers Clark in his Illinois campaigns during the Revolution. This Joseph Hunter is out of Cumberland County PA and most of it eventually wound up in Scott county MO.
