I am looking for the descendants of Alexander Hunter who owned 500 acres east of Arlington, Va., east of Waterloo Station on an old (c 1870) map of Va. I am looking for a Hunter family cemetery where, in 1862, my ggg uncle Schuyler Patterson was buried, during the Civil War. He died late in December of that year and was buried in a cemetary with a Maj. or Gen. Hunter and family. The description of south of the Long Bridge from Washington DC, matches the location of the Alexander Hunter acreage on this old map. Any help would be appreciated.
