This information was sent to me and I have not had time to document bur if you would like to try here it is. Alexander Hunter married Margaret Jamison 17 Apr 1669 in Clackmannans, Scotland. Listed among 9 children are Jane, John and Alexander Hunter. I show a John Hunter will in Guilford County, NC 29 Aug 1877. Probably have more on John but it is mixed in with Alexander so will need to search. Since Alexander and John named daughters Elley/Ally, Alse a mother-grandmother or some close relative may have had that name.
