Barb, This is to give hope. I have an ancestor from the Meck line who I believed for over 20 years must have parachuted onto this earth from the heavens. Through the age of computer, and some wonderful people that I was able to contact because of the "net", I finally connected to his parents. WOW! Was I surprised to find he was one of 13 children, with the 7 youngest being bound out to families who moved all over this wonderful country of ours. I am still trying to find the parents of Rueben HUNTER b. 1809 in either Canada or Vermont. He married Sarah REED in 1829 in Morgan Co., OH. She was born in Pennsylvania. They were the parents of 12 children. sherri
